I am a passionate, solutions-focused therapist who uses warmth, understanding, and genuine care as the foundation of my work. In every session, I meet you where you are—whether you're troubleshooting a specific issue or looking to dive deeper and explore patterns, themes, and insights together.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods and clinically backed therapeutic techniques. I always work through a holistic lens, often examining biological, psychological, sociological, and physical factors to get a clear picture of each client.
During our first few sessions, I’ll guide you through the process of getting to know you. From there, we’ll build a treatment plan with clear goals and outcomes so you know your time is worth it. While I value the work we do together, I also believe therapy isn’t meant to last forever—you’ll focus on building concrete skills and insights that you can carry with you long after our sessions.
Over the past eight years, I’ve worked in outpatient programs, school settings, and hospitals, which gives me a well-rounded, real-world perspective. My goal is always to empower you by building on your strengths—not focusing on deficits.
Outside of being a clinician, I love spending time with animals (especially my big dogs), exercising, being in nature, and cooking or baking for family and friends!
Jessica’s friendly approach immediately soothed my nerves as an adult being in therapy for the first time. She didn’t just listen - she worked to understand and teach me about the way my own mind works then build practical tools that actually worked.
For the first time, my teenage daughter has someone to talk to, who isn’t me. Instead of worrying about getting in trouble she could open up with Jessica about what’s really going on. Jessica helped her build confidence to navigate this complicated stage of life and helped me figure out how to have the difficult conversations with my teen.
After welcoming a new baby into our family, we noticed intense temper tantrums and behavioral issues with our other two children. Working with Jessica not only helped get their behavior under control, but also helped our family adjust to a new normal where we can actually spend time enjoying each other!
